From the Principal’s Office
Fall is here! We are looking forward to all of the fun fall activities that we will be doing throughout the season! We will get to explore and learn about all of the great things autumn has to offer. Now that we have settled into the new school year we are excited to dive into our curriculum and learn many new and exciting skills!
Parking Lot Safety
Please remember to drive slowly and cautiously through our parking lots. There are several small children and their families in the parking lot throughout the day and we want to be sure that everyone is safe! In addition, please so not leave children in the car unattended or any valuables in plain sight. It is also important that you do not leave your car running while in our school and that you lock your car before entering our building.
School Pictures
Lifetouch Portraits will be here to take our fall school pictures on Wednesday, October 17th and Thursday, October 18th. On Wednesday all Pre-K photos will be taken. Also all students with siblings at our school will have their individual and sibling photos taken Wednesday. On Thursday any students in Infant, Toddler One, Toddler Two, Beginner and Intermediate who do not have a sibling at our school will have their pictures taken. If your child(ren) will not be in attendance on their scheduled picture day, they will have their pictures taken on the opposite day. If your child(ren) does not attend on Wednesday or Thursday, please stop by the office to speak with Robyn or Cierra about making arrangements. Class photos will be taken as well, the photographer will decide when these will be taken.
Cubby Clothes
With cooler weather on the way, it’s a good time to change out your child’s cubby clothes for more weather appropriate items. You may also want to take the opportunity to check the sizes of the clothes in the cubby. In addition, since it has been a bit on the chilly side in the morning; please be sure to send a jacket to school for outside time.
Harvest Party
Each classroom will have a Harvest Party and participate in our Costume Parade on Wednesday, October 31st. We welcome our little witches, wizards, fairies and everything scary to our harvest party. Each classroom will have a sign-up sheet for you to pick your potion to bring to the party. Please remember to keep the costumes ‘G’ rated and refrain from bringing any dangerous props.
Reminders
* Don’t forget to check your child’s cubby for important information from their teachers and the office.
* Please make sure that you are signing your child in every morning and out every evening.

A Word from Our Education Department
