From the Principal’s Office
It’s time to start another school year and we are so excited to begin yet another journey through a great year of learning and growing! The teachers are excited to get to know their new students and start the process of helping each of them gain knowledge and develop over the next several months. It is always such a joy to see the changes in each child as they grow-up in our Enchanted Care Family!
Pumpkin Patch Field Trip!!
With the new school year our Intermediate and Pre-K classes will be going on a fieldtrip to Lehner’s Pumpkin Farm on Thursday, October 12th. We will be sending home permissions slips with more details around the first part of October. For many of our Intermediate students, this will be their first field trip EVER!!!! We know that this can be a very exciting and nerve-racking first for many children and parents, so please feel free to ask your teachers, Cierra or Robyn about any concerns you may have. We do plan for all of the children and chaperones to ride on the big yellow school bus, any child that is under the age of 4 AND 40 pounds will have a 5-point harness, very similar to the harness in a car seat. If we do run into a situation where the bus is full, we may ask some chaperones to drive themselves (and possibly their child) to the fieldtrip.
Charleston Wrap Sale
Our first sale of the school year is in full swing! We have had 2 students win pig racers and are looking forward to the Porkster race at the end of the sale. Be sure to turn in your tickets as you sell your items! The sale ends Monday, September 11th.
Checking In and Out
Please remember to check your child in and out each day on the iPad in the foyer. It is very important that you do this when your child is with you. So during drop off you should do it BEFORE going to the classroom and during pick up you should do it AFTER going to the classroom.
Professional Development Day
Enchanted Care will be having the first of 2 Professional Development Days for the 2017-2018 school year; therefore our school will be closed on Monday, October 9th. The teachers will spend the day learning about updates to our Links to Learning curriculum, exploring new classroom management techniques and working together to improve as a team. The second Professional Development Day will take place in February.
Reminders
* Don’t forget to check your child’s cubby for important information from their teachers and the office.
* Please make sure that you are signing your child in every morning and out every evening using the iPad in the foyer.

There are several small children and their families in the parking lot throughout the day and we want to be sure that everyone is safe! In addition, please so not leave children in the car unattended. It is also important that you do not leave your car running while in our school.
* Tuition Due – Tuition will be due on September 11th and 25th. Please make sure that your account is current with the tuition cycle.
